II.STAT BUILDS
-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-
Here's a general overview of the most common stat builds. There are of course other builds, such as 3 dex 2 luck, and 4 dex, 1 wis, etc. Most of these are ineffective though. Feel free to tweak the builds however you want to though, such as adding in a little vit every now and then. It won't bite. I recommend either the pure dex build, or the 4 dex, 1 vit build
-------------------------------
a.PURE DEX
This build is simple, fun, and great. The most common stat build for scouts of all kinds, and the least confusing. No going wrong with this build. This build gives you the most hit rate and damage you can get, though you are pretty fragile. In PvP, you'll do great damage and be able to hit those pesky pure luck thieves, but it won't take many hits for you to go down. *Recommended*

PROS
-Great damage
-Great accuracy
-Easy, no confusion
-safe, can't really go wrong with pure dex

CONS
-Low HP
-Low defense
-------------------------------
b.4 DEX, 1 LUCK
This build is for those looking to crit more, though you won't notice that much of a difference. You take away from your damage to get a little more crit rate. You won't out damage a pure dex though. This build is just as fragile as a pure dex, but at least you'll stand out. In PvP, you might see some misses from those low hit rate classes, as well as a crit every now and then. That crit might even get you the win.

PROS
-A little more crit rate
-A little more evasion
-Not as common as pure dex

CONS
-Less damage per second
-Less hit rate
-Low HP
-Low Defense
-------------------------------
c.4 DEX, 1 VIT
This build lowers your damage, but makes up for it with extra hp and defense. You are able to take on multiple mobs at once, and not worry about getting hit once. You can also solo higher level mobs due to extra defense and hp, though you'll miss more often. In PvP, you'll survive longer and still deal decent damage, but you most likely miss some hits on pure luck thieves. Also this build seems like it'd be good for boss hunting. *Recommended*

PROS
-More HP
-More Defense
-Not a common build
-Can take multiple mobs better leading to faster leveling
-More PvP survivability

CONS
-Less damage
-Less hit rate

-------------------------------
FOCUS
Required level: 5
Max level: 20
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Wind Force (3)
Description: Passsive. It increases your accuracy.
Notes: Useless, as scouts are either pure or mostly dex. Though it is a prerequisite for backstep, and backstep is a prerequisite for a gunner skill. More info under backstep notes
-------------------------------
3 SHOTS
Required Level: 5
Max Level: 15
Skill Points: 1
Prerequisite: None

Required Level: 10
Max Level: 15
Skill Points: 1
Prerequisite: Wind Force (5)
Description: Creates a stone spike to arise from the ground in front of you. knocking back enemies and having a chance to stun

-------------------------------
SHARP EYE
Required Level: 10
Max Level: 20
Skill Points: 1
Prerequisite: 3 Shots (5)
Description: Passive. Increases ranged attack damage
Notes: Max this no matter what way your going to go. It helps boost up your base damage by a lot at low levels
-------------------------------
BACKSTEP
Required Level: 15
Max Level: 5
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Focus (Cool
Description: You step backwards, and have increased evasion while doing so
Notes: Very hard to meet prerequisite, it's needed at level 3 for Speed Step, a gunner skill that increases evasion and movement speed. I say its not worth it, since Speed Step is a completely isolated skill.
-------------------------------
QUICK SHOT
Required Level: 15
Max Level: 15
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Sharp Eye (5)
Description: Quickly shoots and knocks back an enemy pretty far
Notes: This skill takes up 5 ammunition, and takes a lot of mp. Not worth maxing, though its needed at level 8 for Gatling Gun.

Max Level: 10
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Sharp Eye (Cool

Prerequisite: Quick Shot (Cool
Description: You crouch and are unable to move, pull out a gatling gun, shoot 9 times in 1 second, and each shot has a chance to stun

-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-
b.GUNNER SKILL DESCRIPTIONS
-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-
SPEED STEP
Required Level: 30
Max Level: 8
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Backstep (3)
Description: Passive. Increases moving speed and evasion
Notes: Due to the very high demand of wasted skill points into useless skills, this skill is not recommended
-------------------------------
SHARP BULLET
Required Level: 35
Max Level: 20
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Sharp Eye (12)
Description: Passive. Increases damage of criticals
Notes: Though haveing uber high damaging crits would be fun, crits aren't too common and thus your points are better off spent else where. I'd get it to the prerequisite though
-------------------------------
CRASHER
Required Level: 35
Max Level: 20
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Sharp Bullet (3)
Description: You do a roll, which is unstoppable and it knocks the mobs back
Notes: It sounds very interesting, and very useful. Get it to level 1 for those times the mobs get too close
-------------------------------
HEAVY ARMOR
Required Level: 45
Max Level: 20
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Sharp Eye (12)
Description: Passive. Increases physical defense
Notes: Though it sounds like a must max, i recommend only getting it to 10, just enough to get the bazooka while still benefitting from the defense increase
-------------------------------
WILD BOMBARD
Required Level: 45
Max Level: 20
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Heavy Armor (3)
Description: You pull out a shotgun, shoot a shell, and it hits multiple mobs
Notes: Another skill that might be worth getting. You can always play it safe and only increase it by 1, or just save points
-------------------------------
WILD SHOT
Required Level: 50
Max Level: 20
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Sharp Bullet (10)
Description: Quickly shoots an explosive shot, the explosion can hurt multiple mobs
Notes: I'd like to say that this skill would be useful, if it didn't have a bad prerequisite. Your choice
-------------------------------
BAZOOKA
Required Level: 60
Max Level: 20
Skill Points: 2
Prerequisite: Heavy Armor (10)
Description: You pull out a 'zooka and fire a fast missle with a big explosion. The explosion damages all enemies it touches
Notes: I don't know if i'd max this, but its definately worth the 2 skill points it costs for 1 level.

IV.SCOUT TO ARCHER GUIDE
-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-
Lets get started,
In order to get any of the archer skills, you MUST have Wind Force at level 8. That is the prerequisite for leaf shield which all archer skills branch off of. Stone Hammer is a decent skill, but only put 1 point in it if your going to put any at all. You most definately should max Sharp Eye, it increases your damage. No points into ANY basic skill except for rest if you want it, otherwise put that point into Stone Hammer. If you don't want or need rest you can get stone hammer and soul of order instead, they are great replacements. Soul of Order is a skill that gets better the higher your dex, since it increases your dex based on a percentage of your total dex. In other words, the more dex you have, the more dex you get and since dex is damage, you can see the usefulness of this skill. Don't forget you can also save your points for the skills in a different class.

Don't spend any points on the basic skill tree until you have a leftover skill point to spend on rest.

VI.LEVELING GUIDE
-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-
Just some tips on where to grind

a.0~10
Do all the quests you can, you should level fast and easy. Make sure to save all the apples, and carrots you get as you will need them for quests.
-------------------------------
b.10~15
Do all the quests you can, you should start having to grind. You can start your grinding at wind cliff I, beehive, or if your not up for a challenge, elgaill hill.
-------------------------------
c.15~20
You should have an overload of quests, its impossible to keep up with but keep doing those quests. Do the beehive quests, as well as the red marble quest. The red marble quest opens up the purification quests, which are important that you do. You should train in the wind cliffs, or do the beehive boss
-------------------------------
d.20~25
Do all the purification quests, they give good exp and also give you jewelry. In order to complete some of them you must unequip your jewelry. You can either train in the wind caves and try partying with people. There's plenty of friendly people in there, and a lot of your purification missions take place there
-------------------------------
e.25~30
You should have finished the purification quests by now, and now its grinding time. East Wind has a mission with a super easy boss kill, you are able to solo it and get 20~30% per run. Really great drops too. Try doing it in a party for a little more fun. At level 30 go do your job advancement quest, and congratulations!

[size=14]VII.TECHNIQUES

-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-
Feel free to post any techniques you have found, as well as test or correct some of the following.

a.Short Hop
Easy to master technique, that is very useful in many ways. I use it to hop over the mops heads and shoot them in there backs while there still trying to turn around. In order to do this technique, you must press arrow key, jump key, arrow key, at a somewhat decent speed. You should dash and jump at the same time creating a short, yet longer jump. you can use it to jump over projectiles too. You can also double short hop, by adding in an extra jump before the orignial short hops imput command.
alt, arrow, alt, arrow. It jumps much higher, and goes farther. These are both cancellable by pressing the opposite arrow key, shooting, or jumping(only a regular short hop can be cancelled with a jump)

b.Dash Shot(Bow Only)
This is tricky to pull off, and can be quite dangerous. However, the Dash Shot will almost always crit. In order to dash shot you must be in the process of shooting a regular double shot, and then quickly dash towards your target. You should be dashing and shooting at the same time. Remember to be in the process of shooting first, then dash. A well placed jump at the end of a dash shot, can put you behind your target, giving you a perfect shot. To master this, you must be able to predict when you will double shot.

c.Triple Shot(Gun Only)
This one is a little misleading, as the shots don't shoot as fast as a triple shot should, but there faster than regular shooting. This one's easy, all you have to do is jump then hold down your shoot button. You should stop in mid air and shoot, stop right before you land and shoot, then land and shoot with less delay then regular shooting. The best way and input i've found to do this is press Jump and Attack at the same time, let go of jump but hold onto attack. You should jump up only a little bit before shooting and triggering the triple shot. This is useful for filling in the gaps of your cooldowns, and it can keep back multiple enemies better than just regular shooting.

wow nice this must have toke a long time.

also for gunslinger skill elemental coating(lv. 100 skill) requires lv. 3 on speed step not sure it's worth it though gms won't post a description for these skills(they only posted the name and a picture)

also wild shot + sharp bullet are required to be lv. 5 for Desperado(lv.90 gunslinger skill), and get heavy armor to lv. 8 for optical vision it's like a must unless you want to not get 4 gunslinger skills.

*though GMs said the build might change which would screw up a lot of guides.....

yeah, thats exactly why I haven't added those in:P
and elemental coating is most likely just a passive that increases elemental defense.
