then each class gets a score for evasion, and for accuracy.

you add accuracy to your roll to hit the enemy, to try and meet or beat the enemies evasion score. if you beat that then you hit dmg.

and a monster adds there accuracy to hit your evasion.

example: Loon has accuracy of 0, evasion of 3.

Rhoku has accuracy of 1, evasion of 5.



I attack twice, which means the loon attacks me twice as well.
I have to roll at least a 2 to hit the loon. since 2 + 1 = 3 which is the loons evasion score.
where as the loon has to roll at least a 5 to hit me since 5 + 0 = 5, my evasion score.

if the loon rolls a 4 it misses me, meaning no dmg, and if i roll a 1 then i miss the loon meaning no damage.

make sense now?

oh ok so tell me what happens if this, using your same acc stats.

alright using the same stats.

you hit the loon all three times, you'd then use your damage stat and deal your damage.

the loon hit you once, before it was dead. so the loon would use its damage stat and deal damage to you.

EDIT: of course the stats are a little unbalanced. just giving an example.

What about the 2?

the 2 hits. your accuracy is 1, which means you add 1 to all rolls. so is 3+1, 3+1, 2+1.
4, 4, 3

get it?

Ohhh ok, but did I kill it? And how many times do I roll?

i dunno, this is just a different attack system not damage. you would make up the damage system, maybe the same one, or a new one like rolling for damage.

and you roll as many times as you want. the monster rolls the same amount of times. maybe certain classes would eventually attack twice for every one attack a monster makes.
